Re: Info on my boat?

The number sounds familiar. I want to say that was John Hyde's old B2. Who did you buy it from, Scott in the midwest? If John's old boat, or even if not, I beleive all those boats were built by Paul Bieker and maybe Wolfgang __. I'm sure Hendo and the Seattle crowd know those answers as that boat wo...

Re: The new B6

Hendo, I was hoping that was the answer! Congrates!!! Really happy for you! Was just wondering how your hull would fit into the multitude of new orders after Dave H went so well in HI. Get that shit done so you can send it south in a month or two for the so cal winter sailing which we plan to do a l...

Re: Bieker 5 HM? How does it compared to S3, hm3

Ed, Ask the same ? later in the week when we have seen some comparisons. Everyone is traveling to HI as I type. Will have better comparisons from most variable Bieker rigs including HM and B6 which will be the 1st time they have sailed against each other, will also have comparisons of a c-tech rig i...

Re: Possibly moving to USA, any 14s on the Gulf coast?

Ed, We will make it a point to get you out one way or another. I have an extra B3 that some of the youger sailors are sailing at SDYC, we can get you out on either that or my B5. Either way, can make it work. Stay in contact and we will figure out sailing as well as drinks after! Hope you like IPAs!...

Re: Possibly moving to USA, any 14s on the Gulf coast?

Ed, would be great to have you in the US. Unfortunately, not much (none) action in Houston so far as I know. Was some interest a few yrs ago, but nothing happened. There were a few old OD 14s, but that was a few Hurricanes ago! Unfortunately, you will find that the US is a very large country, and lo...

Re: Upgrade of US1112

The old 1112 looks great, that thing will be a rocketship with a foil. Will love flat water and with that stiff rig it is perfectly set up to put a fat head main in it. The jib looks good. Keep sailing it hard. As Rand said, if you leave now you can easily make it to Richmond YC by Sat AM. You'd lea...

2012 Gorge

Gorge 2012 Skiff Regatta Six I-14s spent last weekend at ‘The Gorge’ at Cascade Locks, OR. We were sailing with the 29ers and 49ers for their National Championships (ours are in Oct. and Kaneohe Bay, HI). Why is it that the rest of the sailing community doesn’t sail skiffs when we get to sail at the...

Re: Upgrade of US1112

I would definately add some structural support from the pod to the gunnels as that boat was a bit soft/flexy back there in 1998-2000 when I sailed her after Keith Stanke built it in San Francisco for the SF Worlds. I think the boat will be great fun to sail and MUCH better/easier to sail with a T-fo...

Good evening, I am just following up on the planned I-14 training weekend sch Jan 21-22 at SDYC. You, along with others, had previously either confirmed you were planning to attend this event, or had stated that you were interested. I just wanted to touch base with you and give you some information....
