HISC Easter Open Event

Post by mike lennon » Tue Mar 11, 2008 7:54 pm

Hello everybody!

Winter is over and as the last storm blows through clearing the way for a glorious summer of sailing, thoughts turn to the first main event of the year -- The 14 Easter event. This is the replacement for the usual Easter tray hosted by ISC.

The format is -- Friday Training, Saturday Racing and sunday Racing. The 2 days will constitute the event. Monday is an open pursuit race starting at the Hisc box.

The Saturday/Sunday racing is part of the HISC club series -- If we get enough boats we may be able to secure a class start. If not we will start with fast Asymmetric and take our 14 results from the club results. As this is not an official open event visitors sailing from HISC will have to pay the day sailing fee for each day except Monday which is an open event.

Training on Friday -- I think its only worth running if we get pre entered participants. Entries will close next Saturday and entrants are obliged to turn up on pain of death!! There will be fee dependent on numbers.
