I moved to the carolinas a couple of months ago ... There are a few boats up in RI ... and I think that's it.

We should have the NA's at buzzards bay. I'll paint madness up in her "Wind" colors for it.

So the Buzzards Bay Regatta decided not to include us because we didn't pre-register before some secret cut-off date, so we are going to host a regatta of our own in Newport the same weekend. Friday will be informal rabbit start racing/clinicy stuff, with Sat course racing and Sunday course racing and possibly a long distance race around Connanicut Island. We will be based out of Sail Newport. The Newport Folk Fest will be going on at the same time which will make things a little hectic, but should just add to the fun (lots of good acts, incl. Allman Bros.) In fact we may come in a little early Sat so we can rent kayaks and join the anchorage party-always a fun scene.

Regatta fees will be MINIMAL, and we will not have to deal with the multi-class BS that was sure to be a part of BBR.

Contact me if you can make it.

Ezra
