Look what I got to race tonight !! "Soo-Perb" a 1955 14 designed by Ian Proctor and built by Chippendale furniture in the UK. She's surprisingly quick and nimble for a 60 year old boat; I was particularly impressed with how fast she turns. Apparently she was 4th in the 1957 Prince of Wales cup. I had posted about her a while back, but she was off the water for a bit being patched up, but back and racing this summer (albeit in light airs only !). Tonight she got line honors every race against a 70's Prindle 16 and a fancy new Laser 1. Old post here about the boat: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1358.
