After the hull is poped out , then the taping of mast step and trunk are done .

Here the gantry is in it's first faze , the core over where the uni's lay from the hull layup.

Does anybody have the plans for a full length (2 patch kite) spinnaker sock for the B6? Also, any pictures showing placement of blocks at the back of the boat (around the rack struts)?

Doug - tie the spinnaker halyard blocks off the gantry arms, not the rear wings. I've sailed on 6's with both setups and putting it on the rear wings lifts the halyard off the deck about 2-3" too much of a tripping hazard. Going off the gantry arms gets it closer to the cockpit floor.

you will soon notice that Hendo is back .Boat shop is strong but after moving the family ,have not had time to sit in front of a computer.
After getting boat #11 out the door we are starting right into hull#12
We will run through the build on this one from the beginning for the owner and everyone.
This boat is being prepped for the Richmond Worlds in 2017.

In the beginning ... Hendo created a boat .
A perfect boat. Thus became the B6H2 Hull# 12. Not to say that hull 11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 were anything short of perfectoin .

We had an interesting failure on our Gnav gooseneck on the weekend. It was missing an important washer between the metal gooseneck and Hendo's beautiful carbon fitting.
I managed to remove it from the mast, repair it and then re-mount it upside down. Also added a washer to prevent the gooseneck fitting from ripping through the carbon again.
Maybe we just used too much Vang in the Gorge...
Anyway, if you have one of these on your Gnav, check that there is a washer on top of the gooseneck fitting.

Doug, we have a new G~neck fitting in stock , I'll send you one. (don't forget the washer,

the mold was then baked to 90 deg. fer.Vac at 23 on the gauge.

I must say that the third time is a charm. Each build and rig has gotten better. Thank you Evan for helping get it started and to Leith for your patience and perseverance in completing H2B6 #11- USA 1194. Knotless in Seattle.

Back to the build. The inside skin is layed and the vacuumed and baked.
Next the trunk and bulkheads are fitted and glued.
