Doug,
spot on with the C.B. locker. Like Joe said, This is just tied to the rack.
as far as holes in any carbon tube , add extra layers to areas (flat washed type size ).

We originally ran double braid and it ran pretty well, but we found that with the purchase we're running it all cleated with ease so Ev and I switched it all out for single braid. the board is running just in front of the midrail pod.

It seems to feel more substaintial in the hand than single braid too. Funny thing is I bought the lines slightly used from Kirk Twardowski because he was changing from double braid to single braid!

Shu,
Single runs better , Double cleats better. Why would you ever buy Used Specta. We At Henderson Boat can supply anyone with FSE Robline ,and splicing.

Hendo,
I'm not one for putting used line on my boat, but Kirk's lines were nearly new, the right lengths and the right colors; it was hard to pass up.

Hendo,

I had a query on the purchase you use to tension the lowers.
The set up which has fixed length and then a floating tensioning line going to the gooseneck and i guess down paralle to the mast.

Cheers,

Ed

Eds.
If you came to a regatta we would show you the way. Everyone has there own thought on lowers adjustments The one that I think you are talking about is the system that Dave H. in Auz. designed . The deflecting lines tie into the goosneck and then go to a, say 4:1 down and goes where ever you want it,
On our boat this cleats on the mast.

Hendo, I would love to. It was fun joining you all in LA.
Unfortunately I am living in Norway now minus a 14 (stored in uk) so i will have to give you guys a shout if i make it back over anytime.

It is an interesting design, just going to try and work out how much tension you can achieve on the lowers and what the load might be with max kicker.

Any chance of a close up of the gooseneck and purchase routing sometime.

Well, we may have a red B6 now but we will continue to be Team BOOBY Racing. Here's a short video based on the naming process. It's not official yet, but I think we have a winner!

Enjoy!

Hi:

In October there was a reference to a CB up/Down control. Since US1112 is in the shop for upgrades, I was wondering how this is rigged?

There are different systems , one has a hole in the board at the bottom where the lower part of the trunk is, when the board is all the way down.
this comes out to a control line say 4:1 and out to the rail. This lifts the board the length of the trunk.
With our new High aspect boards a few teams have set up a simple system that hangs off the boom just above the board with say 4:1 and then to either side. this then has a bungie that pulls it out of the way coming from the G neck area of the mast and then down.
As far as getting the board down ,, use you your foot.
