Hi guys,
I am thinking of sticking a 49er kite on my ovi 2 to give it a kick up the arse :lol:. Has anyone done this before and whats the lagest kite any one uses atm?

Unfortunately i dont have a spare boom but my boom is a proctor specimin and is very good! Many a time have i landed on it and its held strong :D

HELP! Boat is currently comming along ok, got all the fittings off the hull, logged all the rope (250m of it), and am now working on sanding down the whole thing ready for repainting. But we are having sail issues; The current sails are not good due to being left outside in the wet for over a year ...

Too much slack or too tight?
Tighness shouldnt really matter as it would keep it closer to the boat when dropping

Sounds ok. Mine is attached at an eye on my mast. I set my elastic to be sensibely tight when it got to the top. And it seems to be fine, mind you i dont hang around when i drop kites. So this could be a reason :lol:

Hi Christian We paid 1000 for it. I suspect this is considerably more than you. THe bonus is we have plenty of spare kit. 2 rudders, 3 daggerboards, 2 mains, 2 jibs and 3 kites.
