Re: The new B6

So Kris are you distributing these beautiful T foils or do they come direct from Waterat?

Is there a package price for the rudder, tiller/cassette and the book/pintle carrier if one wanted to upgrade a pre-B5 era boat?

Re: Vancouver i14 sailors ?

If you can't get someone to come have a look you can certainly ask here and you'll get some answers, but every boat is rigged a bit different so it might help if you post some specific questions. Ideally with pictures of the system involved. for starters - any idea what model you've got or a sail nu...

Re: Trailer mounted gear box

I know Brad R, Paul G and the seattle crew all have very nice aluminum box trailer set ups. I assume they're all custom one offs, but would love to know who built them. You guys reading this thread?

Re: Sails for I 14

you might be more likely to find these sorts of sails through Thistle sailors or a wooden boat forum. Most of the frequent users on this forum are focused on the newer boats.

Good luck!

Re: New Rudder

if you're determined to make a rudder, there's a nice description of how to do it on the swift solo build pages. however - it's worth noting that most current 14s have the same difficulty putting the rudder in at full depth when leaving the beach as you're experiencing. the cassette system let the b...

Re: Sail Number??

don't know of anything in louisiana, but you might check the sailing anarchy dinghy forum to get in touch with the lunatic International Canoe guys down in Texas. They seem to be in touch with a lot of the high performance guys in the region. If you're ever up for a drive, we have been running three...
