There are several sailing gear shops in Warnemünde. Sailmaker is also available, you may have to cross the Warno to get there anyway.
We have been talking to the local shops, so they should be prepared for skiff stuff.

There have been several failures reported around the world. The cause is micro cracks that develop by time through fatigue loading when going through the waves. That's why I changed back to good old stainless steel - Titanium is more brittle and more sensitive to fatigue loading. I also use rolled s...

thanks TG for the reply. We'll try to set something up. From what I can tell the weekend would be the obvious choice, though personally I'd like to have dayly spectator boat coverage. But we need some more passengers to make that happen...

Anyone any more input on planned visits?

Cheers, Jens

Spectator boat for Warnemuende Worlds

We're currently setting up a spectator boat tour to get all our friends, family and foes out to the racing area to watch the racing. To have the best solution available (sitting around on a RIB all day is certainly not the best for most of them), I'd appreciate input on how many people are intereste...

For camping, however, there are two options: beautiful local campsite in Markgrafenheide, next village down the beach. or, in walking distance to the dinghy park but with less atmospher...

Wanted: trapeze harness

I was looking for a new trapeze harness - Magic Marine "skiff light" size L suits well. But it looks like they are sold out in germany. Any good hints where I can get one on the way from Dover to Cowes?
Maybe someone is a dealer in the fleet and can bring me one?

Thanks,

Jens - GER 96

75th POW NOR?

Is there a NOR available somewhere? Particularlty I'm looking for some information about exact dates, racing format and schedule, spare days, entry fee... Neither the GSC nor on the RYS website provides that. They just state that it will be 18-24 August 2007. A bit more would help planning the trip....
