Re: The new B6
Yes, Brad, it is that easy. You should give it a try. Reasonably priced and a great value. Holds its value on the used market incredibly well too. Just like a potato chip, after you eat the first one you have a hard time stopping yourself from having another and another.

Re: The new B6
I must say that the third time is a charm. Each build and rig has gotten better. Thank you Evan for helping get it started and to Leith for your patience and perseverance in completing H2B6 #11- USA 1194. Knotless in Seattle.

Re: The new B6
I am always impressed by the simple bulkhead structure that produces such a stiff and light weight boat. Nice work Kris and Kim.

Is that paint on Henderson's boat or Photoshop? Must be the key to winning!

Re: San Diego Skiff Super Cup
This is truly an amazing event and one of my favorites. You will get more boat handling practice in one day than in a week of practice. Lots of close quarter racing and lay line practice. Unbelievable fun (at least if you are driving)! Regrettablyt looks like I am going to miss this one. Darn.

Of course none taken Damien! It is a shame more of our top NA teams couldn't make it. For many of us work and life just took the fro t seat for this one. Like yourself, we will live it vicariously through the web. Let's get on with it!

Re: Who's gonna be good in Geelong?
Good thing I came 3rd at Nationals or I'd be missed! Actually, my boat will be as I sold it to Uto and Ishi-San in Japan. Dave A. Is driving a Henderson B6 and I understand he and Dan are finding it to be a sweet ride. He and Terry G along with Kirk T. Should show the B6 fine next week in addition t...

Re: Some new Hendo love from Pressure Drop
Shu: That's not exactly what it says. Henderson built many Object 2 B5's for way less than that as did others. Tuttle and Bayliss boats were quite a bit more. How much they really costs is a mystery. I once tried to buy a used one for over $52,000. Fortunately, I came to my senses or at least that's...

Re: The new B6
Oh i forgot to add Doug all of our line is single braid 12 strand Amsteel. They call it Blue Am steel but I have red, grey, blue and black too. I buy it with my commercial fishing discount. It splices easily with a taper and it is cheap.
BTW Evan loves it too.

Re: The new B6
Doug: FWIW I eliminated the continuous gyber and therefore the take up. I would almost consider having it only on the starboard side to lock and the release prestart if at all. Not sure it needs to be both sides. I previously found with 24:1 cunno and vang that one side take ups were not enough. May...

Re: The new B6
Which makes the two in front of the strut what- board up and down? I eliminated my uppers and have self adjusting lowers. Two less things for me to worry about and provide unneeded distraction. My decision making matrix is already overloaded as it is! I can't imagine another 4 options to overlay on ...

Re: The new B6
Looks good Doug. Nice work. Did you choose to only put one take up in the rack? If so, why? I assume the control lines are still continuous.
