Do you have any budgets calculated.

I bought some universals for a socket wrench. Then welded a tube for the tiller on one end and a plate for the barrel on the other. One season so far and still working.

I bought a couple of socket universals for ~20 Canadian, welded on a flat piece of metal for the Ovington connection and a metal tube on the other to fit inside the tiller extension. Works real well although heavier then other options. Its cheap and unlikely to break.

Has anyone converted a conventional B2 or B3 to a self tacker and moved the mast aft and left the centerboard as is and moved the jib forward 30 cm?

If so how far did you move the mast and is the boat balanced?
